Re: 2017-2018 MLB Hot Stove Thread
This wouldn't be the first time the Dodgers picked up a coveted Manny in a trade. It does make a lot of sense if the Dodgers get him, with Seager outzo.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: 2017-2018 MLB Hot Stove Thread
He's hitting .314 on the season at AA Tulsa. He's our number 4 prospect and 84th or 86th overall in baseball (can't remember which one). He is a really good player and is somewhat blocked right now. Our outfield is already crowded as well so it makes sense to part with him if that's what Baltimore wanted.Comment

Probably not, but who knows? Anything can happen with these types of deals. Would assume it's Diaz and maybe one or two of the following in Dustin May, Imani Abdullah, Yadier Alvarez, Gavin Lux.
Don't think Urias or Mitchell White would be involved. I could see White if we tried to get a guy like Michael Fulmer or Jacob Degrom types.Comment

Re: 2017-2018 MLB Hot Stove Thread
If that's the return, I guess we can ease up on Baltimore just a little bit. Getting multiple top guys for a rental (even one like Machado) is pretty decent. I mean it's not quite a Chapman package, but then again the Dodgers have won more recently than 1908 so they aren't that desperate.Comment

Another Futures Game participant. Ruiz had a much worse time at the game than Diaz. Either way, Dodgers doing work with these IFA's and turning them into trade chips.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Orioles and Dodgers are in agreement on a Manny Machado trade. Yusniel Diaz is indeed headed to to Baltimore for sure and possible other prospects.Comment

Not sure who else they are getting, but with Austin Hays (assuming he gets back to form), Cedric Mullins, and now Yusniel Diaz Baltimore has the makings of an outfield.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Now if they could only get some pitching to go along with it.Comment

Mountcastle, now playing 3B, has been doing great at AA. Cisco could be a good catcher with more experience. They definitely have some position players. Can they develop pitching at all? If not, they need to trade for a bunch of 23 and 24 y/o guys that other orgs. have basically fully developed for them.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment
