I don't know who would want to manage the Nats. You have to win a World Series to keep there job. Which the organization has never done. The manager get let go after putting the game in his ace hands out of the bullpen and franchise player striking out.

Interesting, he's definitely hired for working on the Mets pitching staff but I have no clue what he's like as a tactical manager especially one in the NL.

Red Sox officailly hire Alex Cora. He takes over as soon as the World Series is over.

          Let's get it.

I'm really interested in seeing who the Nats hire as their new manager.

Still can't believe they let Dusty go

No surprise. Gonna be 43, who knows if his career is over, but if Braves didn't even pick up an 8m option, don't think there'd be teams lining up to sign him. Maybe someone might in ST.

I like Martinez, the guy's been interviewed for seemingly every job opening the last few years (same for Phil Nevin who just interviewed for the Phillies job this weekend) but i'd hate to see him manage that joke of a franchise.

Didn't they interview Martinez prior to hiring Matt Williams?

I couldn't be happier for the guy. He has worked his way up to this position and hopefully one day he'll become a manager.

Cubs are gonna have a lot of new faces on the MLB coaching staff next season if Martinez gets hired.

Cardinals bring Jose Oquendo back as 3rd base coach.

Add Willie McGee to coaching staff. He is expected to work with outfielders and base running
