It'll be interesting to see where he lands especially with him being a pending free agent. Does he allow the team acquiring him to try and lock him up long term? Will he play SS for said team? (He has come out and said he wants to be a SS from now on) The whole Machado thing is fascinating to me especially considering how the O's under Angelos has never really done the whole rebuild thing with any kind of commitment.

I don't see this happening for a one year thing. Yanks aren't wasting prospect bullets on that unless it's long term.

MLB Network mentioned that a bunch last night... Maybe teams get 72 hour window to agree to extension with Manny... But they all said, Manny probably wouldnt go for that.

They were saying teams may have a 72 hour window to negotiate an extension...it's like getting a run at him as a FA a year early.
