I personally dont see much upside with Mitchell. But you never know.

According to Jerry Crasnick the Jays have their eyes on Rockies OF Carlos Gonzalez.

I'm not sure how to feel about that one.

Cardinals listed as "favorites" for Marcell Ozuna. Cardinals would send 2 controllable outfielders to the Marlins, although no names have been mentioned.

Also interested in Christian Yelich, along with Braves, Diamondbacks, and appx 8 other teams.

        All according to Bob Nightengale

I know the Braves have liked Yelich for a few years now, but I don't know what the plan would be with him. We already have Inciarte, Markakis, and Kemp...and we hope Acuna is starting out of Spring Training. This tells me that AA plans on moving both Markakis AND Kemp if he's bringing in Yelich. Would be fine by me, but I can't see it happening.

These Winter Meetings have been so boring. Can some teams do something?

Depending who we give up, I really like adding Ozuna to our roster. He is controlled for 2 more years before becoming a free agent in 2020.

I would really like a package deal that we get both Ozuna and Yelich, but not sure what all we'd have to return to Miami to make that happen. Doing that would have to mean that Fowler would be on the move.

Wonder if Cards have found any suitors for Fowler?

Just wait til next offseason. Aren't all the big names next year Boras guys too?

This guy sucks the life out of everything. On the pitching side i've heard speculation that Boras is going to wait til the mid-market starters get signed first before he has his big ticket starters sign. The man is playing chicken with the GMs and the market right now.

Cardinals are in on the Manny Machado sweepstakes.

If the Cardinals somehow get Machado, Ozuna, and Yelich, I may have to start a new franchise in MLB The Show '18!

I highly doubt that happens. It shouldn't.
