    Rays lose Eovaldi potentially for a long time, needs surgery to remove loose bodies in his elbow. Add him to De LEon and Honeywell both needing TJ surgery, they are in a lot of trouble. Considering they were planning on going with a 4 man rotation, they really couldn't afford to lose these guys

      I guess signing Eovaldi and hoping he'd be good to go this year backfired on them. Sheesh, it sure looks like the Rays are going to have a hard time having a consistent pitching staff.

        They've brought up Pruitt, but at this point they've essentially got only 3 starters and then 3 long relievers who they hope will somehow get through the other games. Serious pressure on the 3 starters, especially considering only Archer is actually an established guy.

        Could get ugly quickly if Snell or Faria don't pitch well
