Poor guy just needs to make it official and retire...I know he hasn't intended it to, but his hanging on has really hamstrung the Mets, IMO, because they have continued to plan on having him. This year, going with Frazier, shows they don't expect to see Wright play again.

Yep, it's time for Captain America to hang up his shield. This feels like a more drawn out version of what happened with the Yankees and Don Mattingly.

I think there's too much money left on the contract still for him to go quietly. As long as the Mets are getting insurance payments on it, they are probably fine with him hanging out.

I know it's only ST, but after the Braves posted 9-22 (2017) and 5-20 (2016) records the last two springs, it's good to see them at 9-10 with two weeks to go.

Shows what can happen when you lose weight and have a new dietary plan. Hopefully for him he'll translate this play into the regular season.

Yeah man he lost over 40 pounds this off season and has played really well this spring. He probably makes the Opening Day roster unless the Dodgers find a taker for him. I honestly don't think they'll release him considering the spring he's having.

I know it makes all the sense in the world for Acuna to begin the year at Gwinnett, but oh I want him at the big league level. That home run he hit today was ridiculous...

You think he'll be up after the Super 2 deadline?

Yes...it was known going in he'd be up mid-April. It's just like Bryant's situation with the Cubs. You can see he's ready, but they'll send him to AAA for two weeks to buy another year of control.

                            Holy smokes!

The Jays are doing something super cool Saturday when they play the Canadian National Jr. team. They will have Vlad Jr, Bo Bichette, Cavan Biggio and Kacy Clemens in the starting lineup. The other cool thing is that Roy Halladay's kid Braden will be pitching that day for the Canadian team.

The game will be on SN1 for Canadian viewers.
