Clayton Kershaw had Trout down 0-2 today, and Trout walked. To load the bases. And it was Kershaw's second consecutive walk at that point.

This is just me being mildly grumpy but I really hope that these mid-game interviews, especially the player/coach/manager ones, are just going to be a spring training thing only. I know networks have tried that during games (namely espn) and they always end up taking away from the thing that I tuned in to watch, the ballgame. I guess for spring training I don't care to much because I can just pull up gameday on my computer and mute the television/stream. I guess someone must like them or they wouldn't be doing them though.

I dunno, they can be entertaining sometimes. I've seen two dugout interviews this spring that I really enjoyed. One was with Curtis Granderson and the other was with Jim Hickey. (Cubs pitching coach) You aren't likely to see too many of those interviews during the regular season especially on local broadcasts but ESPN and FOX will continue to employ them and i'm very sure you'll get a lot of that kind of stuff during the ASG this year as well.

I have hated mid-games interviews since inception. 99% of time you don't learn anything of value and it isn't worth for the 1% that might be useful.

Home for spring break so I have some opportunities to watch some ST games. About to watch Yankees v. Mets.

Edit: Tebow is starting for the Mets

Michael Kay is calling the game. It's a good day.

Gardy and Judge both singled and displayed some aggressive base running.

Granderson is having one helluva spring. He just clubbed his 4th HR of Spring Training.

                  Way to go Grandy-man!

Stanton with a 2 run bomb! Yankees up 5-1. Stanton's first HR as a Yankee.

I happened to see that HR (well Stanton running the bases) I see he's back to doing the whole football handoff at 3B thing again.

Granderson finished his day 2-3 with a HR and triple. The guy has found the fountain of youth this spring. I hope it translates to the regular season.

Mike Marjama, a catcher for the Mariners, just hit an inside the park homerun!

$5m will do that for you! (I want his agent and I imagine a lot of this years free agents do as well!)

                            Some Cubs Spring Training news...

Schwarber and catcher Chris Gimenez hit home runs on consecutive pitches in the second inning against left-hander Sean Manaea for the Cubs' only runs.

Darvish feels good. Schwarber looks good and is mashing. Justin Wilson hasn't walked a batter yet. Ian Happ looking most likely to bat leadoff.

Jesmuel Valentin walks it off for the Phils vs the Rays. What a shot.
