    CHECK THE TIME STAMP BOYS:

    Spoiler

...but really, the heroes for the Braves were Preston Tucker and Nick Markakis. I honestly would have laughed if you told me that over an hour ago. Go Gators, I guess.

Amazing. We may not be world beaters (yet) but if we scrap like this it's going to be a fun ride.

Awesome comeback. Wish I was watching at home so I could have truly enjoyed it.

Been a great day so far. Baseball is the ****ing best.

I only wish I could have caught that Braves game live, or even in archived form. My PC isn't letting me load up any games, and when I turned on my PS4 to start watching the Braves game from the beginning, of course at the beginning of every season they seem to turn on the "Score scores" option again, so I stare their outcome straight in the face. ****.

Good Giants win. At least they were touching the ball a bit.

I don't yet know who is announce with Flemming on ESPN for the Indians-Mariners game, but he sounds kind of kooky up there. Is it David Ross? (EDIT: yup)

Atlanta catches a lot of heat for not showing up to games, but Opening Day is always a fun environment.

The game wasn't looking good for most of it. Fortunately the Phillies manager didn't seem to think his ace should face the middle of the Braves lineup a 3rd time around and went to the Bullpen. Hindsight is 20/20, but I'll be very happy if Philly makes a habit of pulling their starters 68 pitches into the game.

Just finished the Cubs-Marlins game (on tape delay for me, lol).

Nice: Ian Happ, Tommy La Stella, Steve Cishek, Brian Duensing, double play turns, Kyle Schwarber's offense

              Encouraging: Justin Wilson

Discouraging: Jon Lester, Javy Baez is a hot dog, Kyle Schwarber's defense

162-0, here we come! Looking forward to watching tomorrow live and Yu's debut on Saturday. Go Cubs.

The only things good to watch for the Cardinals today were:

                1) Yadi's homer
                2) Jose Martinez homer
                3) Carlos Martinez meltdown
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Was a great game to watch after they pulled Nola. If you would have told me before Markakis came up to bad that he would belt one over the fence I would have laughed at you.

Still scratching my head at why Snitker brought in Rex in that situation then after the walk kept him in to face the lefty. He got saved by a bigger dumb managerial decision by the Phils.

I'm not even sure why Brothers is on this roster. He was awful last year, awful in Spring Training, and will most likely continue to be awful. To use him in that high leverage situation right out of the shoot instead of Minter was odd...

Which is an interesting perspective considering there's a side up in arms about ivy league guys taking jobs over the athletes.

I'm interested in seeing how this shift in baseball managing goes this year and beyond. A trend or a new order.

Lester would've looked a lot better with an actual left fielder.

He's hurt / injured. I will never buy the "dead arm" evaluation the Blue Jays are using.

I don't understand the reasoning other than protecting both his free agency and the organization's trade attempts.
