I think Corey Knebel might've torn his hamstring just now

Scary moment for Corey Knebel. Almost like a basketball player going down with a non-contact knee injury.

A SP out till July and now our closer out for how long?

        Next man up.

I'm wondering if Jeffries will get the nod?

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Teammates in the clubhouse who saw Corey Knebel taken to trainer's room said he was in severe pain. Speedy recovery. He's a very tough pitcher when healthy.

Interestingly, Knebel had some problems with his left leg in preseason also:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Brewers?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Brewers </a> manager Craig Counsell said Corey Knebel slipped on wet mound and slightly tweaked left knee. Said not considered serious and was &quot;precautionary&quot; to remove him from game.</p>&mdash; Tom (@Haudricourt) <a href="https://twitter.com/Haudricourt/status/972613160208248832?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 10, 2018</a></blockquote>

I wonder if this is at all related to that.

            Dodgers/Giants game postponed.

Too many postponements due to weather already.

I'd be surprised if the Rockies play today, either. Been snowing most of the morning so far.

Also weird to think that it's Friday and we don't even have a full slate of games scheduled for today. What is there, 9 games scheduled for today?

I feel bad for the Brewers. This season isn't starting off the way many fans probably envisioned. I saw the Knebel injury and if it's only precautionary than sheesh, that looked way uglier than it is.

Good grief....The Jays are tinkering with the idea of Kendrys Morales playing 3B sometime in the Texas series.

Lord help us if that happens.

Yeah yeah yeah offense is fun but how bout 72 pitches through 5 for McCarthy. If he makes it through the 6th I'll break out the champagne. :P

It's Coors, so anything can happen, but he might actually go 7 today!

Those last 3 strikeouts were textbook. That's probably gonna be it for him, but a start like that was just what we needed. Is there a chance this team could be for real? lol.

Oh, Chip. "They sure know how to grow grass in Colorado". He just had to sneak that in.

I look at this Braves 5-2 record, and get all chipper.

Then I look at the Pirates' 5-1 record, and tell myself to pump the brakes a little bit.
