He does that on purpose...so did Willie Mays.

The longer this goes, the more you worry that a Rockie is going to hit one of those Coors Field homers.

Whatever, can't complain about that. We once had a walkoff walk to win the pennant.

            **** the Mets.

What a disappointing way to end a great game.

Go from 1-2 with 2 out, to throwing 7 straight balls and walking in the winning run.

Granted the game would have been over in 9 if the replay team didn't suck.

Arodys Vizcaino has always struggled with the mental toughness part...you could see how tight he got. Great stuff, but I don't know that he'll ever be the guy you want with the game on the line.

So the Rangers did a classy thing by having a moment of silence for the Saskatchewan hockey team that was involved in that horrific crash. They didn't have to do it but they did, much appreciated.

Anywho, Mike Minor had the Jays completely off their game tonight. I will say that tonight was an example of a pet peeve of mine about current day MLB. It was only 32 F out there tonight and the balls look slick as all hell. Back in the day they'd make sure the balls would get rubbed down and lose some of that sheen. Stroman struggled with his grip for a lot of the game. I'm not gonna blame the baseballs for that just that back in the day baseballs would actually LOOK game used.

Ya, but let's not get too excited here. When I did rosters this year for the MVP game, and I do use a lot of stats to determine the major attributes, MIA came up 30th. Maybe I should contact Jeter?

What a game for Andrew McCutchen last night. 6-7 with a double, HR and 4 RBI.

He had a 20 PITCH AT-BAT when he hit his walk-off homer. Wow.

It was incredible...but wasn't it a 12 pitch at bat? That whole game was pretty amazing.

You're right. It was 12. Just realized I was looking at the pitcher's total pitch count. Haha. Brain fart.
