    I am far from complaining.
I mean, extra inning games have a 50% chance in ending in a walkoff so it shouldn't be that surprising.

You may already know this, but he already has a UCL injury. Received a PRP injection for it last fall. So he's already in the same boat as Tanaka, pitching with a slight tear or sprain. It'll be interesting to see how it holds up in the future.

The 23-year-old has a first-degree sprain of his right UCL, according to a report dated Nov. 28 and performed by Dr. Masamitsu Tsuchiya at Doai Kinen Hospital in Tokyo.

I did not know that. So there you go.

On a note about this Mets/Nats game, the 3B coach must feel kind of invisible right now. Trea Turner gets tagged out between 3rd and home earlier in the game after not seeing the coach stopping him. Now Harper doesn't pick up his coach after the error on the pickoff and it might cost them the win.

And it does for the time being.

Didn't expect this from Tigers starting pitching, Fiers and Liriano should be traded immediately before they become Fiers and Liriano

No I know, I'm just stating that's where most of the walk-offs actually came from so far.

From what I’ve read it’s pretty normal to see in pitchers that age. Which is why it didn’t scare any teams off from pursuing him so hard. All teams knew about this going in.

Really wish I went to Anaheim today to see Ohtani as I wanted to. Would have been incredible to see Trout hit a homer and that home debut outing. This guy's a joke. There's no way he's real.

I can't wait to see him pitch against another opponent though.

Other than that, obviously glad the Braves were able to take 2 out of 3 from Colorado. With McCarthy, Sanchez and Newcomb starting this weekend I thought we would have gotten destroyed in a sweep. Glad it didn't work out that way. Hell, we probably should have swept them!
