Giants got who I think will be the best player in this draft in Joey Bart.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I think Nick Madrigal will be pretty good. He's been fun to watch the past couple years.

He was my buddies roommate (also a Beaver, Jordan Britton). Pretty cool to see him selected so high!

For the 1-1 overall pick, Mize sure has a funky delivery. Not a fan of his hard stop at the end of the motion. He needs to get a lot smoother.

The Athletics just drafted Oklahoma's 2018 starting quarterback.

It'll be interesting to see which path he takes. Obviously good enough at baseball to be a Top 10 pick, and good enough at football to be a dark horse Heisman candidate.

Gotta like Baltimore taking a pitcher in the 1st round. Now they just need to take pitchers in all of the other rounds.

Would much rather have had Liberatore or Singer than Weathers. Oh well.

Looks a lot like a right handed Carlos Rodon

They probably won't pass their physicals.

No pressure kid, but MLB Network gave Padres comp pick Xavier Edwards comps of Ozzie Smith and Jimmy Rollins

I really like that the Reds were able to get Johnathan India. I hope their plans are to try and make him a ss, since he has played some. Because thats where were thin, and Im just not a huge fan of Peraza as a ss, mainly due to his lack of arm strength.

Jays took a SS(Groshans) for 2nd year in a row. Some people seem confused since he was projected later in the draft(though on MLBN they said he was likely going in the 'teens) and Jays top 2 prospects play SS/3B. Perhaps they just view one of the SS they drafted in the past 2 drafts as guys who could be valuable trading pieces in the future? Potentially 3 of your top 10 or so prospects being SS would lead to teams calling for sure about one of them.

Under Shapiro, Cleveland did draft some IF in 1st round who turned out alright. Chisenhall, Clint Frazier and Lindor all in the past 10 years. Hopefully the guys the Jays have drafted recently can end up anything like that.

I was a little annoyed the Orioles passed on Libetore and Singer but the more I read on Rodriguez I feel better. He'll do great on whichever team we trade him to in next 3 years!

Also not looking forward to O's news on potentially drafting Helmich from OSU.
