So...um...this Mariners team didn't look too great against NYY or BOS.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

You can't just look at the final result. They actually looked pretty good, competitive at least, Wednesday and Thursday against New York, were winning 5-0 and 10-5 against the Sox on Friday, and almost shut them out yesterday.

I mean sure, it isn't sustainable. But they were also playing the two best teams in the American League. If they were struggling against the Royals or Baltimore, then there'd be a problem.

My God...can A-Rod be any more up Bryce Harper's ***?

Or "Philliebusters", but only if after the rain the Phillies would suck

Joey Votto is the biggest troll in MLB. It's hilarious. Wonder if he has an OS account and trolls The Show forums?

Now we have A-Rod analyzing Harper's breathing after belching out his name before the commercial break and cheering for him as he hit a double off the RCF wall.

Hey *** Rod, maybe there'll be an opening on the gNats broadcasting team soon.

So I'm looking at this shaven Bryce Harper (although he's back to stubble) and I really have to say I don't see it. All those comments someone made about him looking like a "thug" or "goon" with no beard--I feel like that must be coming from some deep-seated animosity toward Harper. He looks pretty normal, imo.

Good for him. The big bad Cubs come to town and lay a massive egg. He's earned the right to troll. When the Reds hit 90 losses later this year, this will be one of their better memories of the season.

Bryce does look better with a beard, but that's neither here not there.

Phillies rookie Mitch Walding just came to the plate 0/7 with 7 K's so far in his MLB career. He puts the ball in play...and it's a double play. So sad.

Ok, so he's clearly not ready for the bigs yet. Not the first guy and won't be the last. Can't know until you give him a go, though.

A-Rod with the crystal ball up in the booth. Love hearing him justify his decisions...such a cerebral guy.

Kapler getting too cute with the decision making again. 2 outs and there's a 19 year old at the plate. Granted, he's swinging a good bat, but you walk him to get to one of the best veteran hitters in the last few years? Gabe outthinking himself again.

This should have been expected considering who the Nats had to pitch this series. Not really all good considering you had a 6-2 lead. Another waste of a good effort by the starter.
