Looks like the Braves aren't going to reclaim 1st place today.

Well...par for the course with Braves replays. I really don't understand what these umps are seeing that we're not.

Mets/Yanks postponed. Theyre replaying the derby which i missed. Tuned in during the Schwarber/Hoskins battle.. My god what a show this is. Id be good with most of these guys again next year. Would love to see JD in it though.

Would love to see a derby with these 8:
              1. Bryce Harper
              2. Giancarlo Stanton
              3. Aaron Judge
              4. JD Martinez
              5. Kyle Schwarber
              6. Rhys Hoskins
              7. Justin Bour
              8. Mike Trout

I tell ya, if there's a pivotal replay in the playoffs that are as bad as some of the reviews we've seen over the course of the season than it's going to be insanity with the media ripping MLB a new one.

Oh and uh, back to the Syndergaard thing...I've heard of getting foot and mouth disease but all 3 at one time?! That's pretty crazy.

J.A. Happ pitching another game that'll help his trade value. 5IP,1ER,9K.

Scheduled to pitch 1 more time before the deadline, against the White Sox. Last pitched there last season where he went 7 innings, allowed 1 run and had 10Ks. Here's hoping he goes there and puts on another performance like that. Say what you want about his ERA, but his 1.18WHIP is top 25 among qualified starters in the MLB.

Daniel Poncedeleon, 14 months out from emergency brain surgery following being hit in the head with a line drive, gets the start for St. Louis on Monday against the Reds. I hope he strikes out the side in the first inning. And that there are no comebackers.

Daniel Poncedeleon, the 26-year-old right-hander whose life and career were put in jeopardy last May after he took a line drive to the temple, will be called up to start for the Cardinals on Monday.

The Brewers have really been taking it on the chin lately, huh? They fall out of 1st place. Josh Hader's Twitter account surfaces. Brent Suter tears his UCL. Jimmy Nelson is nowhere in sight despite Brewers fans insisting he'd have been back a long time ago. Zach Davies is struggling to get healthy. They've lost 8 of 9 games.

Some of this is just freak stuff, but just like how people say the Cubs are a 2nd half team, maybe Counsell is grinding his team too hard early in the year? They seem to hit a wall.

This is usually a Triplecrown type of post but thanks to the great Ryan Thomas of the Thomas Take Sports podcast here's a little gem for you:

There are 286 Major and Minor league ballclubs. The Orioles .280 win percentage ranks them dead last at 286.

5-0 already. Probably should look up bus tickets to Des Moines when he gets back to the dugout.

I feel bad cause he's pitched well enough out of the pen to get a chance to get a spot start. He just doesn't have it tonight
