DeRosa was a color guy too but I couldn't take it. Plus, the FB feed kept lagging.

I don't get the point of these random FB baseball games that are exclusive. Why not duplicate the TV broadcast and share ad revenue with FB? I'd watch/listen to more games that way for sure when I'm at work since it'd be great to listen to the game then when a big moment happens be able to watch real-time.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Wade Davis throwing beach ball after beach ball. Relievers sure are fickle.

Vlad Jr is now hitting .462 with 2HR, 5RBI, 9BB, 2K in 9 games in AAA. He's also 7.6 years younger than the AAA average. One of the guys he hit a HR off of, the #24 ranked prospect in the MLB (#2 on Braves).

Miguel Cabrera is one comparison I've heard from people. Vlad watch is more exciting than 2018 Jays season.

I was at the game, and sadly, have to agree to an extent. There is a core group of knowledgeable fans here, but of course they're drowned out by the bandwagoners. And the bandwagon has been huge. I'd almost guarantee that half of those at the game couldn't tell you who guys like Michael Bourn, Chris Carter, Wandy Rodriguez, or even Jason Castro are.

I've been to three Astros games this year: Colon's no-hit bid; Hamels' 1-hitter; and Verlander's 6-run, 2-innning ejection. Maybe I'm bad luck, lol.

            Random stat of the day:
Jays have hit 7 home runs off a 3-0 count. Prior to this year, no team in MLB history had hit more than 6.

Why are the Giants retiring the number of the guy that spent one year as the Marlins hitting coach? Did he do something before that with the Giants?

Don't see this everyday...Hellickson gets pulled from a no hitter after walking the bases loaded with 2 outs in the 6th.

EDIT: And Jason Heyward with a very timely base hit in a lefty-lefty matchup with Solis.

People saying the bunt is dead should watch this Cubs-Nats game. So far, bunts attempts by Harper, Soto, Schwarber, and Contreras.

LOL. Soto got picked off by Hendricks and also back-picked by Contreras. Might be the best way to get him out. Put him on 1st and erase him later.

Oh man, Pat Tabler almost had an orgasm over an (admittedly very beautiful) hit and run last night in the Jays/Red Sox game. I think he'd be in heaven if he watched today's Cubs/Nats game.

I wonder if one team will get so good at bunting one day they'll do to baseball what the Warriors did to basketball.

Start being so good a bunting, there'll be a day where 1 through 9 you have guys who could be a bunt threat. That'll kill the shift too.

Reggie Stocker should have his number retired.
