Corey Knebel gives up 4 runs without getting an out and the Brewers lose? Nice.

So the Mariners just started off the game hitting for the cycle in reverse order. HR-3B-2B-1B. I wonder if a team has ever started a game off like that before? I have never seen or heard about a team doing that. Just a strange quirky statistical anomaly.

I'm at the game and was just about to post this...Seager struck out for the base count to be 4-3-2-1-0.

Yeah I knew it wasnt sustainable to go the entire game without recording an out.

After coming back to DC for the first time since the year the stadium opened, this series all but confirmed to me that Nationals Park is just a boring, bad park. The prices are awful. Water is twice as much as most sporting events. They do nothing to engage the fans and entertain the crowd. Its just a park that's experience is as bland as the park itself.

I honestly would not recommend to anyone to go watch a game there unless you're already going to be in DC for something else like I am.

Also had issues at the gate for 2 of the games with their ticket scanners not working properly so we had to exit the stadium, wall around the whole thing, and go into ticket services to get help where their building was so full the lines for help poured outside of the space. Just an awful experience compared to other parks and exactly how I remember it from 10 years ago.

It wouldn't kill them to learn from other parks and do so much more to entertain the fans. It's near dead between half innings.

At least the Braves played decent and split. That was a pleasant surprise. And the tickets were incredibly cheap, too. That helps the sting of $5 water and $10+ food. A family of 4 could eat cheaper at Sun Trust than a couple can at Nationals Park, and the family would get 10x the entertainment.

Congrats to Betts on the cycle.

Main takeaway though? Even when he didn't have his best stuff Ryan Borucki battled hard and gave everything he got and kept the Jays in the game.

Oh and Ken Giles....How hard is it to have a clean inning bro?

Your boy Happ. He's been doing well in the Bronx. Just what the doctor ordered.

Even as a Yankee fan it's hard to ignore Mookie. Kid is incredible. Wish he was in a different uniform lol. But still hats off.

While Drury is injured and when he was active he sucked.

                  Hopefully McKinney will pan out.

I agree 100%. Of the 15 stadiums I have been to so far, this one is at the bottom of the list for sure. There is absolutely nothing special about it.

Don't let F.P. hear us talking about that though.

I have to agree on Nationals Stadium...I really, really want to like it because you'd think it should be beautiful (it looks nice on TV) with the Cherry Blossoms, the concourse, etc, but bland is a great word to describe it. I've taken in two games there and it just didn't grab me, even though I really wanted to like it.

Count me among those who've been to Nationals Park and find it to be blah.

Haven't watched a ton of Houston, but their home fans are ooohing and ahhing every time an Astro hits a fly ball. Don't seem to be the savviest bunch.

That happens when you're used to the ball being hit out of the park a ton. I remember from 2014-16 Jays fans were oohing and aahing over every thing in the air as well.

Every fly ball got that reaction. If you're not watching the game, you'll hear a ball hit, fans going "OOOO", then you quickly turn to the TV....shallow fly ball caught by the LF.

Get this...Jon Miller just said something about them retiring Barry Bonds' #25 jersey on Saturday. Anybody else hear they were gonna do this? Seems out of the blue.
