      A tie, for even fairer representation.

      Really, I'm going B or C. C would probably win out.

        It's close between B and C for me. I think I'm leaning a little more toward C, but not by much

          There's a reason Strat O Matic gave him a 5 fielding rating at 1B last year (the worst possible rating).

            Same for me. I can't pick between those two.

              A = Nola
              B = deGrom
              C = Scherzer
              D = Corbin

              Not surprised that most are considering B vs C, with C in the lead. A little surprised that only the Phillies supporter likes Nola (is Nola's K-rate holding others back?). Personally, I'd put A, B, and C all on somewhat equal footing.

              Interesting that the guy with the best xFIP gets the least support. Also interesting that a guy with very few wins is getting such strong consideration...it would be very progressive of the Cy Young to actually go in this direction.

                I'd vote for deGrom. And the low win total/% isn't nearly as problematic as it used to be. Felix won a Cy Young in 2010 with a 13-12 record.

                  I went with C before I saw the names though it was very close between him and DeGrom.

                  Crazy how you can have a far more balanced opinion of these things when you take the names out of the equation.

                      This team needs Judge so bad.

                        IMO it starts with our starters, now including the ace we got used to stopping this from becoming such an issue by going deep in games early in the season, not giving us any depth. So the bullpen is overtaxed. You try to get Kahnle some work, he eats it, Holder has been cold lately, he eats it. Then you get to the lack of outfield depth.

                        Now I'm holding my breath for Britton.

                        He did his job, even though Bird tried to sabotage him.

                          I agree with all that. The bullpen has been less then stellar. But they are taxed. But I'm still really happy with this team. It can't be understated enough how badly this team misses Judge and a healthy Gary Sanchez. They run all over Romine. Sanchez gets so much **** for his passed ball problem and rightfully so. But his arm is a game changer and he's an excellent framer. Just hope we get them both healthy for the stretch run and the playoffs.

                            Yeah it was the K rate for me with Nola. He's just slightly worse in everything but HR rate than B and C with a big drop in K rate.

                              I feel like it's fair to say. With Kershaws injuries and missed time. Scherzer has taken over as the most consistent pitcher of dominance.

                                Kershaw in 2016 was legit having one of the greatest pitching seasons of all-time until his back injury sidelined him. I'm still a little bitter.
