Pedro coming, Delgado next target..(Mets)

It seems like Minaya Wants Delgado now, I hope to god they sign Carlos...This would make my christmas as a Mets fan bigtime.

Carlos would be a huge star in NY. The only problem is that he sometimes gets into slumps. I could easily see him not liking the NY media. Either way this should be a great pickup for the Mets if he signs with them.

i was acyually hoping they would sign delgado before pedro, but im pleased talk are opening up again. im not sure the mets have enough cash though. i hear they offered 40 mil and another team offered 48 mil, so they are going to be paying nearly what they are paying pedro so although they would be getting a boost and would have a solid infield, i would rather see jason phillips at 1st and have beltran in the OF with the big money deal.

They really need to go ahead and deal Piazza to Anaheim so he can DH. That is eventually what is going to happen.

delgado is a free agent so you can not trade for him.

delgado is a free agent so you can not trade for him.

I know that Delgado is a free agent. Do you remember when games had you trade a player for a free agent player? That's where I was going with that statement. I just want Piazza gone.
