    It's a good thing the Braves have Acuna. Otherwise...they're a .500 team.

I also wonder how Freddie's wrist is because it seems his power has just been sapped since. 4 HRs and a .830 OPS with a .461 SLG since the break is not the same Freddie.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Gleyb Ruth with the clutch hit, gotta love this kid.

5 for 11 with 11 RBI on the year with the bases loaded...might be our only decent player in that situation given how poorly we hit there as a team.

And just like that, Romine with a bases loaded hit.

No idea what’s wrong with him, but I can’t remember the last time he hit a ball hard. Of course, another lead off walk bites the bullpen tonight. This team is so fun and yet so frustrating to watch.

Welp...a disastrous few minutes. Braves blow a great chance to rally on Pittsburgh with piss poor at bats by Albies/Swanson and then Odubel Herrera walks off the Cubs with a homer to cut the Braves' lead to 2 games.

A's give up 5 in the first last night, put up 5 themselves in the 1st tonight. Baseball gods are so fickle.

Odubel Herrera. Asdrubel Cabrera. Each has his own way of saying it. Important thing is that they rhyme.

Reds have turned on the dreaded comeback AI as they have pushed 3 runs across here in the 8th to cut the lead to 7-5.

Brett Cecil was his usual disappointing self.

Cubs could use some comeback code in that game after their offense went M.I.A. against Nick Pivetta and friends in Philly.

A's can't even hold a 5 run lead with their "ace" on the mound right now.

Looks like Jansen's finally thrown off the rust imposed by his medical episode. Whew.
