Delgado is by no means broken down. Yes his career as a fielder is nearing the end but he still has a great bat. Don't let the final stats on his season last year fool you. His 2nd half stats were some of the most impressive numbers in his career. He'll do well in NY but as I said in another post he sometimes gets into slumps and if the media gets to him then things will get sour.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Delgado is by no means broken down. Yes his career as a fielder is nearing the end but he still has a great bat. Don't let the final stats on his season last year fool you. His 2nd half stats were some of the most impressive numbers in his career. He'll do well in NY but as I said in another post he sometimes gets into slumps and if the media gets to him then things will get sour.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

So far the Mets have gotten:
A questionable Pedro Martinez with a possible 90% torn labrum.
An aging 1st baseman who didn't hit very well in a hitter's park (albeit it an off-year).
Resigned an unpredictable Kris Benson.
They are going to either compete for a playoff spot or sink to the very depths of the NL.Comment
