    9/24 - 9/30 Game Discussion Thread

Guess I'll start the last game discussion thread of the regular season. Sad day.

For a sport that plays 162 games and spans 7 months, it sure goes by fast.

Big, big week for the Cardinals as we host the Brewers for 3 to start the week, take off Thursday and then finish the season with 3 in Wrigley over the weekend. By the time games are concluded on Sunday, St.Louis could be division champs or completely out of the playoffs.

Also, guess I'll be a Phillies fan for the next 4 days. Go Phils!
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Final home series of the season for Jays. Just happens to be against the Astros and Roberto Osuna (his first game vs Jays since being traded). Not just another game where it's an appearance by a former player, but it'll be different given what led to him being traded.

It's also the last home series for John Gibbons as manager of the Jays. Honestly, if i'm the front office i'd send out a press release announcing that he won't be back so we have as many fans as possible come out on Wednesday afternoon to say good bye to him.

It'll be VERY interesting if Osuna has an appearance against the Jays this series and what kind of reception he gets. He may get a majority of boos IMO.

They should let Gibbons have his farewell. Instead of media bugging him being like "This could be your final series in Toronto. What do you have to say if it is?" and making it all awkward, talking in "what ifs".

Love the strategy by Cora to wait until the boys were back at Fenway to break the franchise wins record.

Dan Jennings making his first career start of the season.lol

Speculation is he pitches to Carpenter and Anderson comes in after that.

5 games left in the season, still a chance the Rays miss playoffs with a better record than Cleveland makes it with.

And with one out in the top of the first inning the A's clinch a wild-card berth!

Hopefully they win the game so when they're popping champagne it's not super awkward

                          106 WINS!

Trophy or not, this has been the best Red Sox team anyone living has seen.

Clinched the best record in baseball tonight, which also guarantees home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

I'm gonna be the biggest A's fan on Earth October 3rd.

Brewers and Cards battling in St.Louis.

                            Cards jumped all over Hateraide.
