Arnie looked great in the bullpen, though. Which is where he was projected to play in the majors in, anyway. That start was pretty much "well, might as well do it." Type thing.

regardless, he still exemplified how we were pulling names out of a hat and drawing straws.

but now that we have El Duque, our rotation is set. i think it has a real chance of succeeding in the AL central.

Well, El Duque is officially signed!


Good move by Kenny Williams. Gets us a fifth starter and still have enough money for a SS/2B. I hear they are looking at Eckstein and Ozzie is a big fan of his (but who wouldn't love Ecky?).

Uribe can play 2nd or short. If we signed Ecky he would probably play 2nd. Uribe has a strong arm.
