I'll be in AZ the 23-25. I'll be there for the Dodgers opener vs the White Sox. Then I'll spend the next few days working on roster stuff related to MLB The Show.

Then I'll be back in AZ again March 12-14 for a few games. As usual should be fun. Love this time of year.

So uh, I think Marcus Stroman just wrote his ticket out of Toronto. He tweeted out how Carlos Freakin Gomez is a veteran presence this team needs then today he went to the media crying how he's upset he hasn't been inked to an extension and how the Jays haven't even offered any deal to him. He then said he shouldn't have to go to management about that as his play should dictate that he is worthy of one.

He also made comments about how he's going out of his way to represent the team and the city in his social media which makes it sound like a lot of the stuff he's said has been lies or very disingenuous when it comes to talking up Toronto and Canada.

It really feels like the Jays and Stroman are headed for a divorce. If he pitches well enough he's as good as gone. I wish any team luck on handling him as he's a loud headache at the best of times and a potential dirt disturber when a team isn't very good.

Stroman was great to have when the teams winning, but he cant be on a losing team.

Sucks Jays might just be shipping guys out at low values. Hopefully Stroman can boost his value.

This is kind of funny too, because he played collegiately at duke, which is not a very strong program. You'd think he would be accustomed to losing.

He's the definition of a guy who wears his heart on his sleeve.

His performance seems to be dictated on emotion. If he's happy and you're a winning team, he'll be a star pitcher. If he's unhappy and your team isn't good, he won't be as good

Carlos Martinez shut down for 2 weeks. No structural damage, just precautionary.

I fully expect him to be in the bullpen for all of 2019.

Anywho, Freddy Galvis has immediately won my respect as he was assigned #19 by the Jays but requested 16 out of respect for Jose Bautista. Now there's a guy that has respect and knowledge of his new team's recent history.
