I was briefly watching Mets VS Nats and they literally cut away for a 5 second Porsche commercial.

Probably network dependent on execution of the ads. I know Jays have been having in game ads for years. Even having digital ads added on field and in CF for home games.

I don't mind in game ads, especially if it happens to reduce actual commercial break times. But what I hate is in game breaks for anything like an ad or even a replay, just for them to miss part of the game. I'm sure 9/10 times nothing big happens, but you still miss a pitch, a free throw, a faceoff, a snap, because of that. Then they just show you a replay of what you missed during their last replay. "Sorry, you missed a home run, that's what you were hearing in the background. Don't worry, we'll show you the replay of it. It's the same thing as watching and reacting live right?"

Still, I know what you're saying. He intentionally goes that way quite often as a result of them shifting. If they didn't shift, he wouldn't do that nearly as much, even by accident.

This poor kid playing 3B for the M's has made 3 straight errors and let the Red Sox back in the game

Reliever picks him up and the M's take another from Boston

It's early, but Montoyo really is looking like one of the more likeable and humble managers in baseball. Played bongos with Marc Anthony during ST lol. Made sure his coaching staff "smacks him across the head" (his words) if he takes game too seriously/negative, and still tries replying to every text he gets, so he shows he hasn't gotten too big.

Much different guy than Gibbons who'd get ejected every week and is one of those guys who could call you a jerk(sugarcoating it) to your face in a completely joking way. He has in front of cameras during interviews too. He had that beer league coach feel.

Today was the first time in Dodger Stadium history that both teams hit a lead-off home run.
