Good news: Jays starters have gone 4 straight with 0ER

Bad news: Jays just 2-2 now in those games.

This feels like the pre-Bautista days. Rotation might hold their own, but offense cant get it going.

Unreal play by Jordy Mercer, the Tigers shortstop, who threw out the winning run from his knees in extra innings at home plate.

              Fun fact.

Jeter sent him to Milwaukee for barely nothing in return.

As great as the Mariners are doing in their own right, the Red Sox remain relentless on offense right against them, and simply will not go away.

                          Crazy series.

Yelich is great, not sure why people are overlooking Betts as (probably) the 2nd best player in baseball.

And right on cue, Betts tees off.

Seriously though, Yelich was always underlooked playing in Miami and behind Giancarlo Stanton. Milwaukee isn't exactly the Boston of the midwest, but given that they are playoff-bound they will generate a lot more buzz for Yelich than Miami ever would.

Both players are great, though. They implement a lot of the same tools and have similar builds, with one being a lefty and one a righty.
