I really only get to watch them anymore when they are in the east, play a day home game, and on Sundays.

It was said on the airwaves here in Canada for a while before and after he signed his extension but Mike Trout is essentially the Connor McDavid of MLB.

The comparison is apt, the best (or arguably so in McDavid's case) player in the league is stuck in a market no one particularly cares about and doesn't get that much TV coverage. The skills and talents of both players are recognized by experts and fans alike but because they're doing it on crap teams they're just not crossing over into being more widely known. Both of these guys are just happy to be where they are. (though that seems to be changing, McDavid in the last week or so has been sounding off about being very frustrated)

LA/Anaheim is a market no one cares about?

They'd be the Anaheim Angels if they played in a market people cared about.

Might be stretching it a little to say "no one" cares about it but they'd be the Anaheim Angels if it was a market that more people cared about. The Angels are so easily eclipsed by the Dodgers that you just don't hear about them very much unless they're winning.

No one outside loyal baseball cares about the Anaheim Angels. I would go as far to say most baseball fans view them as an irrelevant market and franchise for the most part.

Love this Twins team minus the bullpen. Could be a playoff team.

That was a wild play. Laureano had no business trying to jump for at the fence since it hit the wall like seven feet above him and put him in a terrible position when it hits near the top of the wall and bounces off. If he plays it off the wall like he should have Bogaerts probably stays at second base. But instead since it landed far away from Laureano, Bogaerts tried to go to third and Laureano made a terrific play to get the ball on the ground and throw an absolute bullet to third.

It look liked Bogaerts slowed down for an instant rounding second, like he was thinking what to do, and that was the difference.

Might be 100 people at the Indians-White Sox game right now.

                          LOL.

The shots I have seen still looks like much more than at these Reds games. I'm going to have to look at those Marlins games again to compare that as well.

Excited to see this Kluber-Rodon matchup, though.

FP Santangelo is the reason why as much as I hate the Orioles, I have no rooting interest in the Nationals-Orioles MASN fight. Normally, I'd be all in on the Nats side but if they're going to get that money and use it to pay people like him, may as well let Angelos keep it. Dude is the worst.
