Bryant 2 for 2 so far tonight, single and a double. Solid contact on both.

The 2B resulted in an out at home on Descalso, unfortunately.

Saw that...might post another rant about him and see if it helps him get over the hump.

Nice that Heyward is hitting so well that he's even in demand for postgame interviews. I can't really recall hearing him speak before, lol.

I don't think Hamels was bad tonight the Dodgers just didn't chase any of his out pitches but they do that. 2nd highest walk rate in the NL.


This is the Heyward the Cubs faced in the 2015 NLDS. the guy they paid a bunch of money too. This is very encouraging.

I still think they need bullpen help but there are alot of encouraging signs. Strop is the one guy I'll never be worried about. He's one of the most underappreciated players in Cubs History.
