The players love Snitker and he keeps them loose. So there’s that.

But his tactical decisions leave a lot to be desired. No argument there.

Who cares if the players love him? That is his only positive quality he brings to the club. He is an idiot, pardon my French. He doesn't understand shifts, he uses them only because other teams do. He has absolutely no clue on how to manage a bullpen whatsoever. He has never been the reason we've won a game still.

        Re: 5/13 - 5/27 Game Discussion Thread

Our fielding is the strongest part of our team. It is more than good enough to be considered one of the elite defenses in baseball. It is hindered on a nightly basis by some of the ways we line up. I'm not anti-shift. I understand 100% why shifts are used and am all for them. Make hitters hit it where the defense isn't. That being said, a lot of our shifts are seemingly being put out at random and we get burned by them too often right now. That Carpenter shift is a prime example of a Snitker special. You never ever have any excuse at all to be in that shift in that situation. That literally just lost the Braves the game and it isn't the first or last time that will happen.

I cannot comprehend for one second how anyone in the dugout thought that shift at that moment even made sense at all. Combine that with how they were pitching him away and it makes even less sense. It makes negative sense. I lost IQ trying to understand Snitker's logic.

Its frustrating but he's had shoulder issues and was shut down last season so I understand the kid gloves early.

The more I see Daniel Descalso play in the field, the more I think he'd be one of the better-fielding designated hitters in the league.

That's so many managers though. Lol I think everyone hates their managers decisions at some point.

I'm know I do. Lord knows Girardi and Boone have royally pissed me off on many occasions.

Now he just needs 290 more to tie his dad.

Heyward and Bryant collide in the outfield chasing a fly ball, Bryant gets the worst of it and leaves the game. Walked off the field on his own, at least.

                    Reds blasting the Cubs 7-0.

Ain't this like 2 in a week for Bryant?
