At least the guys are getting valuable fielding practice tonight.

It’s 14-0 and we’re being no hit...lol...but remind me why Dan Winkler is in the majors again?

Darn you, AA. We’ve gotten nearly as much production from 2 weeks of Austen Riley as 200+ PA’s of Josh Donaldson. Really wish that $23M had been spent on relievers or another starter.

Almora hit a foul ball into the stands that struck a child. Adult rushed the child up the stairs for medical assistance.

Almora was visibly upset immediately. Then after the half inning he walked over to security guard in that area inquiring about the well being of the child and then broke down crying.

I believe I heard that an update that the child was ok, but cannot say for certain, as I was walking up basement steps when they mentioned it.

Thanks. Wow, that's some scary stuff.

This is horrifying. I just read the little girl was taken to the hospital and was conscious and alert leaving the stadium, but there aren't any new updates.

But hey, at least all of the other fans in that area didn't have to deal with the minor inconvenience of a screen slightly distorting their vision of the field as they watched a 100+ mph foul ball hit a child.

A fan took a photo of Almora with the security guard.

Might be the most shaken I've seen a player in that situation, outside of one guy (name escapes me) whose broken bat went into the stands and hit a fan.

Carlos Gomez just made a horrible defensive play then followed it immediately by a great defensive play, all in the same play. Well done

Pete Alonso just tied Mark McGwire's record for home runs before June 1st by a rookie, at 19.
