Not the first time this season Cubs have lost due to horrible strike calls...

      That was a GREAT pitch.

At least start docking ump pay for crap like that.

Miss an easy foul out on a MVP caliber player, next pitch Yelich bombs a three run homer...

When the Yankees don't win the World Series this year, it will be their first decade without a World Series appearance since the 1910s.

I'm loving watch Austin Riley play but its obvious he is going to hit the wall hard soon when looking at the peripherals. But hey...I'll enjoy another 2005 Francoeur type season!

Ya...3 walks in 63 PA's and over .450 on the BABIP. I guess when you keeping hitting them out, the BABIP stays up. I don't understand why they keep throwing strikes to him...now that he's shown he can hit major league pitching, I'd be looking to make him expand his zone and show he can be patient.

                      Baseball is dying.

If not for Kobe in 2010, we could've had full decade with no Yankees or Lakers winning. Would've been so nice.

What on earth are they planning to do with this Cards/Cubs game....it's tied in the 5th so I guess it's not an official game yet, and the two teams play tomorrow afternoon so it's not like they can sit there all night to wait it out.

NM, looks like it just resumed.

I wonder how many more seasons the Cubs are planning to keep Kyle Schwarber? The guy's carrying tool--his bat--is producing .212/.322/.419 and Joltin' Joe Maddon is reviving the failed leadoff man experiment (Schwarber is batting .198 overall as a leadoff hitter). Schwarber hit .238 last year and .211 the year before that. He can't hit lefties, he's a bad defender, he has no speed, and he can only play LF. One of the least versatile players in baseball even if he were hitting .300 with power.

Theo Epstein loves him more than life itself. I just don't get it...enough about his re-made body. Enough about how he hit that homer on top of the signage that one time. The guy isn't worth a roster spot on this team.

June is off to a good start.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Are you an Astros or Twins fan now? Or perhaps an NL team?

Or you could be saying that the Sox are finally gonna pull it together, and they'll be in the Series. Cheers to that.
