I'm hearing here in NY Today that the Mets are going to up the offer already to, 7 years $112 million. I hope Beltran takes it.

The good part for me is that Beltran said the Cubs are interested. If he doesnt sign by Saturday this will become a circus.

I don't know, man... The first two were with Steve Phillips and Jim Duquette... I have a feeling that if Omar was in charge, he could have pulled of at least one of the first two. I think he has a pretty good chance of landing Beltran, particularly if the Yankees have pulled out, as has been reported.
