    I guess it's 13 after tonight.
This is a casual effect of SPs not getting deeper in games. It seems like teams would've invested more in the bullpen vs SPs by now if there will be more reliance on a pen going 5 IPs a game versus the 2-3 a decade ago.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Hopefully we get the good Folty and the Phillies don't knock him out with a line-drive. 3-0 lead already, gotta take advantage of this.

Nick has been frustrating yesterday and today.

May be time for a day off for him.

The Phillies are evolving. They are learning how to properly challenge.

Folty nibbles WAY too much...don’t understand it.

A 5-0 lead doesn't even feel safe with this pitching staff. A 10-2 lead at Wrigley field wouldn't feel safe.

Freddie has looked off today. The ejection and the Phillies coming town are the two best things to happen to Donaldson this year.

If this score holds up this is a pretty successful series. The Braves keep playing like this and the Phillies keep playing like they are and we may be in 1st the rest of the way with little drama. Still a loooong way to go, though.

                      This is uncharted territory.

We'll probably go 5-20 in the next 25 games thanks to my post.

When the offense is going like this, it feels like every time I look up Riley is up.

Just saw a clip of that ball hitting Newcomb in the head. That guy's a tank. I'm glad he had his head moving away from the ball because I think that really lessened the impact and made it a lot better than it could've been.

Arrieta was great for them but he doesn't have this type of upside anymore.
It was a good start for Darvish, but I need to see a half-dozen more before I agree to put Yu Darvish and solid in the same sentence again.

I think the bigger story was that the offense finally came through when trailing against a good team. They showed a graphic during the game where the Cubs were the only team in MLB to not have won a single game when trailing after 6 innings.

That Harper contract looks really bad right now. He may not even reach 2.0 WAR and his defense has been subpar. I know most here knew that contract overvalued him, but even knowing that it still looks bad.
