How many people in Los Angeles got to watch that performance?

        Dear Cubs...

You're already 0-4 with RISP thru two innings.

Seriously...a single will work. Just a single.

Thanks for swinging from the heels, though.

Every time I hear the words "Schwarber dives" I know bad things are about to happen.

It's unfortunately becoming clear the Cubs probably should've traded Schwarber in 2017/8...perhaps they'd still have Jimenez?

KS is not the disciplined hitter he was thought to be, and while his defense has improved, he's still a big liability...

Jimenez, Morrow, Darvish, LaStella, Schwarber...the team is still succeeding despite these mistakes...but it's hard to see them winning the NLCS.

Pete Alonso has tied Darryl Strawberry for most home runs by a Mets rookie at 26.

We still got 3 full months to play.

The Marlins' catcher today, Wilkin Castillo, last started an MLB game over 10 years ago.

That's both incredible and kinda sad for the Marlins lol

Nice scene in St. Louis with Pujols homering and getting a standing ovation while rounding the bases. Of course, this is the year 2019 and he's a visiting player. In 2007 there'd be nothing unusual about it.

And it makes me mad that the local media always stans for Kyle Schwarber. Yeah, he's a great kid. And, of course, there's the Bone Thugs walk up music that is undeniably boss. But by reading those Jesse Rogers ESPN articles, you'd think he was in the MVP hunt. As the leadoff man this season, Kyle is batting .237/.307/.550. Oh goodie. Rarely on base and lots of meaningless solo homers. His standard game is 0/3 with 2 Ks and a BB followed by 1/4 with a solo HR and 2 Ks in the next game.

I'll always be a fan of Kyle Schwarber for what he helped do back in 2016, but I think I can be an even better fan of his while he DHs on an American League team and the Cubs add a legit leadoff hitter and outfielder.

you do realize Eloy is every bit the liability Schwarber is in the field. He's in a perfect spot with the DH.

when people talk about the Eloy trade they're not upset because Eloy would be on the Cubs they're upset because they believe the Cubs choose the wrong SP ex: Verlander

I don't consider LaStella a mistake. He never showed any kind of upside with the Cubs other than Pinch hitting.

Cubs are on a brutal stretch and they've been awful thankfully so has the rest of the division.

Gabe Kapler just got ejected for the first time ever as Phillies manager. Definitely got his money's worth before leaving too.

That last play by Victor Caratini made this whole game worthwhile to watch. Then the cap tip to boot. LOL

                            Crazy story to see.

June 20 2009, Wilkin Castillo played his final game in the majors....until June 22,2019!

Castillo, now on the Marlins, was catching today for a guy who was 14 the last time Castillo was in the majors!

Also, the last time he started a game was in 2008 vs...the Marlins.

That is crazy. Can't believe nobody said anything about it until you mentioned it.

The Braves need to find out a way to play the Marlins every time the schedule says Nationals on it.
