Yep...I’m not sure why we keep running him out there. I think in the end we will wish we had Kimbrel over Keuchel.

Oh well. Would have been nice to see how Newcomb would have done if he hadn't been knocked out. He was looking good. Just another game this bullpen has given away. We could have near 50 wins right now if the bullpen wasn't garbage.

Here is something we can agree on...it angers me to watch a bullpen squander a team’s efforts night in and night out. I continue to blame AA for this; the team is at the point where they should be contending and you need a legit closer for that. He continues to dumpster dive...not sure I’ll get over him not signing Kimbrel.

We have 12 blown saves. We aren't even last in the NL either. Relief pitching has gotten pretty weak league-wide and we are still relatively bad.



I guess it's 13 after tonight.

Jose Ramirez has to be having one of the most godawful seasons ever for someone who was a serious MVP candidate the year before. He's gone from 146 wRC+ in each of the previous 2 seasons to 55 wRC+ this season. So he's basically hitting like a pitcher now.

Not watching Cleveland much this year, what is up with Jose Ramirez!? I want to say he's had a run of bad luck (.225 BABIP with hard hit % up), but the way he tailed off in the final month last year and now this...something has to be going on, right?

that was such a huge win. Also that game right there is why they signed Darvish. completely dominated one of the best offenses in baseball. his numbers still aren't great for the season but his last 6 starts he's been pretty solid.

Arrieta was great for them but he doesn't have this type of upside anymore.

While I wait for Cashman to address the pitching concerns. This is the potential lineup for the Yankees. (Stanton and Judge expected to he back within a week)
