I don't mind Fullmer although I would only use him as a platoon player to hit lefties.

If the Shawn Green trade ever goes down, the D-Backs and Jays have already agreed to trade Shea Hillenbrand for Adam Peterson. I don't like that trade because it's like the Phelps trade, where JP is trading away a guy with upside but it's when their value is near rock bottom.

A player I want the Jays to get is Juan Rivera. He's blocked by Anderson, Finley, and Vladdy right now. The Halo's also already have Devanon in the OF. I'd be willing to give up a quality prospect for Rivera. You get him on the Jays and I think you'll see .285, 20 HR's, 85 RBI's, .355 OBP from him.

Re: The FA list is getting real thin now

I think the Angels will platoon Rivera and DaVanon at DH, but you never know, maybe if the Jays offer up one of their pitching prospects to the Angels something could be worked out.

As for Nomo and Sele as possible Cubs, Nomo is a long shot but there was mention a while back about Sele. Sergio Mitre did not pitch well in the majors last year and the Cubs would like to see Angel Guzman start the season at AAA (but i expect we'll see him by midseason), after losing Matt Clement there was talk about Baker wanting another veteran to compete with Mitre, Guzman and Glendon Rusch for the 5th starter job, Sele's name was mentioned. Thats it, nothing in stone.

Ahh I see thanks for you info. I still think Glendon will be the 5th will Guzman coming up during the season. Injuries have really set him back. I found this in the Trib. It seems Maggs is serious about becoming a cub.

Who knows what is true anymore. That being said the Cubs better get going and get some damn bullpen help while youre at it. I expect when spring training starts they will be able to get rid of that bum Farns.

                Carlos Delgado: Baltimore, Florida.
                Danny Bautista: Tampa Bay, Houston.
                Jeromy Burnitz: Houston, Arizona.
Alex Cora: Cincinnati, Kansas City, White Sox.
                Shawn Estes: Arizona.
Brad Fullmer: Tampa Bay, Toronto, Florida.
                Juan Gonzalez: Cleveland.
                Brian Jordan: Atlanta.
                Barry Larkin: Washington, Retire.
Jim Mecir, Antonio Osuna, Steve Sparks: All could be minor league invites anywhere.
                Hideo Nomo: Texas, Cubs, Detroit.
                John Olerud: Toronto, Mets, Baltimore.
Scott Schoeneweis: Cincinnati, Texas, Tampa Bay.
Aaron Sele: Texas, Tampa Bay, Cubs.
Scott Williamson: Out for 2005 season (Tommy John surgery).

                Thats what i think.
Agree?, Disagree?, What are your thoughts?.
You can probably add Texas to the teams that are interested in Delgado. According to the ESPN Insider, Soriano could be traded to the Astros in order to free up more money to throw at Delgado. And as for the Astros and Ordonez, don't count on it. He's a Bora$ player and I doubt the Astros want to deal with him again.
