If he was going to sign with the Twins he would have already. Braves are the team he wants to sign with. The Twins are just being used as leverage. They would have to blow the Braves offer out of the water for him to sign there. Still holding out the slimmest of hope he will be a Twin.

Eh...I know the contract probably is ugly in 3-4 years, but this team is in win now mode and he’s the best bat left. If he stays healthy he’s a great player; I’m glad to see us commit to winning. I don’t know if could have watched him breaking out an umbrella in the National’s dugout.

So glad...never wanted KB; giving up way too much for 1-2 years. I’m so not convinced Bryant is elite anymore...he’s really declined hard.

I’m looking at his total production, not just at the plate. When he came up he was an all around player who could field, run the bases, and an elite bat. In short order he’s become a liability in the field and his base running has become meh (both according to metrics). He’s still a good hitter, but those other areas bother me...

I gotcha. His injuries certainly haven't helped him in the field or on the bases, but I doubt his athleticism is completely gone now that he's in his supposed prime. I would imagine at least his baserunning ability will return. I don't know about his fielding.
