with the addition of Delgado to the Marlins staff, it is almost impossible to predict who will be number 1 this year in the NL East.
First it looked like it would continue to be the Braves on top when they acquired Tim Hudson and Danny Kolb and moved John Smoltz to the rotation.
Then it looked as if the Mets would be on top when they got Pedro and Beltran
Now with Delgado going to an already solid Marlins team, this will be a tight race all year it seems. i find it funny how Delgado refused the Mets offer because he wanted to be with a contender
And the Phillies even have a chance still. They arent that much of a downgrade from last year with the exception of some pitching, and they were expected to win the division last year, they are destined for a breakout year sooner or later. maybe a new coach will help.
