Hmm ok. Thanks. I didn't know that.

A quality start tonight...an Atlanta starter has pitched 3 innings without giving up a run and is still in the game. My standards have fallen...

All joking aside, Anderson was brilliant tonight.

What a difference 24 hours can make.

Bo Bichette returns tonight for first time in a month and Alejandro Kirk (their current top catching prospect) makes big league debut for Jays.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Villar changed his jersey number after just 10 games with the Jays.

This is the 6th different number he's worn in his career!

I was concerned when he walked 3 in the first 3 innings, but he really settled down. 7 innings of shutout ball and really improved his pitched economy over the last 4.

Pujols is still sitting on 659 home runs, but just passed Craig Biggio in all-time doubles leaders with 669.

Anyone happen to know the all-time MLB leader in career doubles? Basically, if you didn't know before, you'd never guess this answer (I remember hearing this on Braves radio, I believe).

Mets have outscored Jays 20-4 after 2 games in this series.

                    Series is tied 1-1

Game ends on the highly unusual pickoff review challenge.

Jason Heyward hitting a go ahead 3 run HR off of Hader is probably the least likely outcome expected in that AB.

He's finally earning that contract on the offensive end.

Really worried about Kenley Jansen right now. Gave up 6 hits in a row and was pulled without recording an out tonight after he was rocked in Arizona a few days ago. Velo is down and the control is eroding.

Crazy that he's already 32; feels like he just started closing, but this is his 9th season of closing. I haven't watched him much this year, but his numbers look decent; maybe it's just a rough patch. His 2016/2017 seasons were his prime...just SO good.

Fully aware that his days of being a bullpen ace were already behind him, but I was at least hoping that he'd settle down into being a solid, steady closer (his 2018-19 seasons). Instead, he's getting worse. Doesn't take much of a sample size to judge a guy's velo and control and both are trending downwards (and have been since 2017).
