Rob Manfred must have hated the last 2 Jays games before last night.

Each game went over 4 hours and the game didnt go to extras and didnt have any delays.

And an interesting note from last nights game. Jays OF Jonathan Davis hit the game winning HR in his first at bat in the game. He got tips on how to hit Happ from his brother in law Anthony Alford, who the Jays recently lost on waivers and whose spot Davis basically took on the roster.

Cardinals off today then play a double header tomorrow against the Tigers. Then will host the Reds over the weekend.

Yankees loss and Os win tonight will have Yankees drop to the 9 seed!

Less than a month ago they were 1st in the MLB.

How is it possible that Braves’ starting pitching is so bad? It doesn’t seem to matter who they run out there not named Fried/Anderson, they really suck.

Darvish has recovered well after a rough 3 run first, but it might be too late - Bauer looks like he has no-hit stuff tonight. Only man to reach so far for the Cubs was on a dropped pop-up.

Edit: no-no gone, but Bauer still dominating. Probably won't go the distance though.

Meh, they're 5-5 in September right now. Far from a swoon. They've been a below .500 team since the 13-3 start, so this is just what they are.

Preposterous stat from Braves’ 29-9 win: Bryse Wilson was awarded a save...when he came on the game was 22-8. I guess the official scorer feels the same way about Brave pitching as I do!
