Great news....I assume this is all due to my decision to move back to Toronto this summer.

Does anyone else think the skydome's interior would benefit from a paint job? I was thinking a dark green to increase the warmth of the place. It's not what you would call a major renovation but it can go a long way in my opinion.

I just read on slam.ca (I think that's where it was) that Godfrey wants some of the concrete painted over to make it look a tad more cheerful and not so drab. I think changing the seat colours might be kind of nice too ... since they're not really even the "Blue" Jays anymore anyway.

I kinda like the Blue seats for some reason, I thought it once gave the team personality but maybe if they had them painted black or something that would help, but the skydeck wouldnt just be the same without those blue seats. I'm all for painting the concrete....its so hidious.

I saw on the news last night just how big of a job it'll be to convert to it being the "Rogers Centre" .. since the SkyDome logo (the D with the rays coming out of it) is everywhere; on garbage cans, on the first seat of every aisle ..

They showed the inside of the Rogers Centre last night, and the old Jumbotron is now gone. It is kind of sad in a way when things like that change. What isn't sad is having the horrendous turf gone for good!
