I don't think the Cubs will ever go long term with an outfielder because they have Ryan Harvey, Felix Pie and another kid whose name escapes me ready to come up in the next two yearsComment

I thought the Sosa trade was a good step sideways. It would have been a huge step forward if we got Julio. Now we take a nice step backwards when we sign another Sosa type player with less abilities. WOW. A trade is the only thing I can hope for because Burnitz is no ballplayer.Comment

Seems like they traded away a guy who could play sloppy defense and hit for power and they signed a free agent whose basically the same type of player. But maybe he won't be such a problem in the clubhouse.Comment
