    Re: XM for baseball?

I too love my XM radio. Tons of sports, tons of comedy, tons of music. The only time I listen to normal radio now is for Cavs games when I'm on the road and for the Glenn Beck program. Now I'm probably going to be even more hooked to it cause of the MLB coverage. I'm an avid fantasy baseball player, so now I'll be able to follow my players more.

I have never tried Sirius, but I hear great things about it too. I think both companies are trying hard to please their customers. I think the best thing is to look at what programming each has to offer and take the one that suits your taste the best. I believe Sirius covered all the NFL games didn't they?
It almost made me get both. And once the price comes down more and maybe subscription fees maybe I will. Right now I feel it would be redundant to have both.

The only thing it doesn't have is NPR, but I find it has been a great value.
What receiver do you have? Do you like it?

I'm probably just going to break-down and get mine in the next week or two. I was trying to hold out as long as possible hoping they'd be smart and do something similar to the cell phone companies...sign a 2-year committment and get free/discounted hardware. I'd sign an agreemtent like that in a second if they did it.

I got the Roady2 plus the home kit so that I can take it in and out of my car.

The Roady 2 is the way to go. Its fairly cheap for the car setup. I also bought the home kit. I heard a rumor, keep in mind this is a rumor, that they were going to make an adapter to make the roady 2 portable like a myfi. If you get an XM radio, you gotta check out Opie and Anthony. Its a premium channel, I think an extra $2.99 a month. Its worth it. So for a married man with 3 kids, the Roady 2 is the cheap way but you don't lose any quality.

I just have one of the first Delphi XM receivers that come out. I don't use the car adapter. I gave my parents the roady. I am thinking of getting the Roady2. My parents only use theirs in the car and they say they never have a problem with reception and go into the hills and isolated places all the time.
Anyway like I said I hear great things about both, so look at the programming and price and where you will be using it and I can't believe you can go too wrong.
