A few nights ago they played a 7 inning game, Strowman cruised through 6 then was due up in the bottom of the inning. They let him hit and he drew a walk, advanced to second on a single then advanced to third on a groundout. Inning ends and he doesn’t take the mound. The next day the announcers say he didn’t pitch the 7th because he was standing on the bases in the cold too long

Well the yankees suck big time and that lineup are massively overrated. how many times have they lost to the rays now in the last few years?

The start of a season is always over analyzed imo.

Seriously just DFA Pham already. He’s the worst player I’ve ever seen wear a Padre jersey. And that’s saying a lot.

I will be happy the day baseball moves to robot umps. The calls this year have been absolutely horrible.
Edit: This guy is calling anything a foot out of the zone a strike. Brutal call to Kim and an even more brutal call to Turner.Last edited by BatsareBugs; 04-18-2021, 05:09 PM.Comment

May very well end up true on the year, but we're talking 15 games. Not everybody can start out hot. If they were 90 games into the year and they went 5-10 for a stretch we would chalk it up to just being in a small slump.

On that note, the A's have won 7 straight after starting 0-6.Comment

Wind blowing out at Wrigley. Could be an entertaining Sunday night game.
Edit: Sure enough, Freeman visits Sheffield Ave. in the top of the first.

13 runs through 6? I'll take it.

What the serious **!?
Braves bullpen has thrown almost as many innings through the first 15 games as the starters. Bryse Wilson has thrown 69 pitches through 5, has a 10 run lead, and he gets pulled to start the next inning!?Last edited by KSUowls; 04-18-2021, 08:28 PM.Comment
