Stats like this makes me wonder if theres ever been a stat so specifically random that nobody bothered to fact check it to see if it's even true.

I could say that the Yankees are the only team to have defeated every AL team on May 20th and who's gonna go and check every May 20th Yankees game AND every May 20th game for all AL teams to see if its true?

A VAR of sorts should be there too.

In hockey if someone scores but nobody noticed (doesnt happen too often, but it does happen multiple times a year), they have the horn go off in the middle of play and the team is awarded the goal.

Obviously in soccer they have the goal line technology and offsides too.

If something is so obvious that a reply official could notice it seconds later, that should change the call.

Any database analyst with minor experience in SQL would be able to filter this with ease if given the tools to do so. Your question should take no time at all for them to figure out.

The real question is how they discover it's noteworthy to look up in the first place. The absurdity comes from that portion, in my opinion. Computers can't do that much for you without a significant amount of overhead, so never expect a video game to be able to give that information for you even if programmed to do so.

Thought I’d finally get to see George Springer play a regular season game for the Jays today.

            Apparently not.[emoji22]

Mets are above .500 even though they are dead last in baseball in runs scored. So do they started scoring runs and become world beaters, or does the pitching eventually stop bailing them out?

don't even bother looking at that stat the mets have played about 4 or 5 games less then the other teams.

A few days ago I saw a stat that 25% of the runs they’ve given up have been unearned, which makes their pitching even more impressive. I think the bats wake up eventually and the pitching comes back to earth a bit but their pitching will be what carries them, plus they have Carassco and Syndergaard coming back soon. Their offense is too streaky to rely on

Good point. Just wondering if some of their hitters are going to get out of the slump they are in. Their 1, 2 and 4 hitters today are hitting sub .225. They are doing ok in spite of that.

                          Vladdy with another HR!

                          5RBI through 5 innings!

Now at 6HR and 17RBI. 1 behind the HR leaders and 4 behind RBI leaders.

                          Heres a non random stat

Acuna just struck out on a check swing that he held up on, but the umpire said he tipped it into the mit...... the ball was a good 6 inches away from the bat. I welcome our robot overlords.
