Mets lose 2-1, both runs they gave up came via a passed ball after a strikeout with the bases loaded and two outs. This team is hard to watch

Buster Posey has been off to a blistering start. Turned back the clock in April.

This guy's strike zone has gone completely out the window.

                I always think 3-4-5.

                That's what it's been, traditionally. Mayyyyybe 2-3-4.

3-4-5 are usually the best hitters, but 4-5-6 is the actual middle 3 of the lineup.

Heart doesn't mean middle, though. The heart of the lineup are the hitters that get the offense going much like the heart in your body is what keeps it alive and going.

2,3,4 or 3,4,5 are what I've always considered the heart as well. Once you're at 6 you're getting to the bottom of the lineup.

The game started an hour earlier than usual in Philly and it’s an adventure watching the outfielders deal with the setting sun

Amir Garrett is lucky he never has to step foot in a batters box.

Jays had a similar issue with their games in Dunedin so they moved it 30 minutes later. Based on how they played last night, I'd say they like the change.

Striking out a Cubs batter this year is far too easy a feat to act like that.

I also found it funny how Rizzo didnt even get involved in the skirmish at all and he was the one Garrett was chirping at. Rizzo was just shooting the s*** with Sonny Gray while things got sorted out

An umpiring disaster in Philadelphia. They call Andrew McCutchen out for being out of the baseline even though he was running in a completely straight line, then they throw to first and the call the runner that was out, safe. Mets got a break that only the play at first is reviewable

The "misplay of the day" on sports shows could literally just be umps bad calls every night.
