I expect the Cardinals to recall the entire Triple A roster before the weekend is over

IIRC, Yankees were near the bottom left corner of it, which isn't the part of that graph you want to be on.

But it is the part of the graph I want them to be on.

Is it to early for MVP talks?

Vladdy doesn't see himself as a 40 home run player (because he's projected for 50+).

He's for sure an all star, but I wonder if he's gonna do the HRD this year. Especially being in Colorado, he might even crush his own record.

If you don't walk in 20 runs you can actually beat other teams even with all of the terrible defense.

Milwaukee has overtaken the Cubs for the NL Central lead (by tiebreaker, as the two have the same record but MIL has thumped the Cubs head-to-head) as they and the Cards have each dropped the first 3 of their 4-game weekend series. The Reds have been the ones beating the Cards, so they've gotten back into the race too.

I don’t think you’re remembering correctly, pitching hasn’t been the issue.

The bottom left I think was "good pitching, bad hitting".

Cant seem to find the graph anymore, but it always seems to pop up every so often.

Pretty solid outing from deGrom on a night when he really didn’t have his best stuff, he is a magician with the bases loaded. Nice to see Lindor heating up

What do you mean? He was sitting 100+ on almost all his fastballs save for the last inning he pitched. I'm very surprised he got pulled.

I’m by no means saying he was bad, but he left a lot more pitches than usual over the plate. Fortunately you can do that when you consistently throw triple digits. I’ll gladly sign up for seven innings of shut out ball on an off night

The Cardinals are in a bad way right now.

I can' tell if the Braves pitching has been good this series outside of the walks in game 1 or if the Dodgers hitting has been worse than usual. Outside of all of the walks in the first game the Dodgers haven't really done much on offense all series. They are almost being too patient, imo, getting themselves in holes and watching some good pitches to swing at go by.
