Jays manage to come back late in the game vs the White Sox.

Talk about a crazy schedule to start this season. They now have 23 wins vs teams above .500. That leads the MLB I think by 2 or 3 wins.

And on the flip side, they're in last vs teams below .500.

Both stats because of the top heavy filled schedule going up against all the good teams, while they still have over 40 games left on this season against teams in the bottom of the league.

Surprise Surprise. Atlanta makes it to .500 and then loses.

Will Smith has hardly been lights out this year, but you have to wonder if he might have been more effective had he not been pitching in his 4th game in 5 days, including last night's game with a 4 run lead.

Ian Anderson just straight up whiffed on 3 bunt attempts. Couldn't even touch the ball with the bat at all. It amazes me how these guys make it this far and can't get the bat on the ball on their bunt attempts. Admittedly, I never tried to bunt 95 mph, but I'd imagine that if I was able to bunt 85 mph relatively consistently that I could probably get some wood on the ball at 95.

If a player can't keep the bunt in fair territory, that's one thing. Straight whiffing on 3 straight as can be fastballs is a bit sad.

The Phillies just took Knapp out for a pinch runner. Reamulto already pinch hit earlier in the game. Who do they carry on the bench that plays catcher?

It doesn't matter who is catching for the Phillies. Alvarado can't throw the ball anywhere on target at the moment. Somebody get him some Spider Tack. Or maybe he has too much Spider Tack on his hands because he is spiking the ball.

Wheeler and Anderson throw 13 combined innings, neither allowing a run. We get a 1-1 game after 9 innings. Manfred says screw your great pitching game, let's put free runners on base. The Braves plate 2 in the top of the 10th without even getting a hit and now Philly plates a run in the bottom of the 10th with a weak single from the leadoff hitter.

That's baseball.

Phillies walk it off 2 games in a row. 4-3 final. This is the worst Braves team of the 21st century.

That keeps the streak alive of Atlanta dropping multiple games in a row every time they've made it to .500 on the year. It's obvious this team has a weak mental makeup and it starts from the top.

That'll end up on the blooper reel.

Runner on 1st, 1 out.

Jays hit a ground ball to 3B. Moncada gets the ball, waits, then casually throws the ball to 1B for the out. Inning done.

Except like I mentioned, it was 1 out, runner on 1st. So instead of an easy double play, the inning continues, and Jays score a run with the next batter.

Keuchel tops the 100 pitch mark because of that.

This Sox-Stros game is 1000% stupid and 1000% beautiful.
