I wanted Jays to go after Bryant in the offseason. Given he's on an expiring deal, I wonder what it would take for him.

1st inning Grand Slam for Harper.

This is really putting an exclamation point on the Cubs competitive window coming to an abrupt end for a while.

Edit. It was Cutch, not Harper. First 3 reached, Cutch unloaded them.

Post ASG, Jays need to swap Bichette and Semien on the field.

Bichette will have more errors than home runs!

And somehow Jays struggling vs the Os. Maybe they thought the break was this week?

Matzek is clearly overthrowing. Two 3-2 counts this inning and he misses in the same place way away from the zone both times. High and away arm side which shows he is overthrowing instead of trying to get the ball over the plate.

Low IQ team about to lose a series to the Pirates. This "elite" offense has 2 runs in 18 innings in Pittsburgh. Snitker deserves to be canned for this ridiculous season.

Cubs offense manages 10 runs and it's not even a close game.

These rainouts are killing the Mets, pushing deGrom back a day means this is his last start until after the break. At least I get to watch deGrom vs Burnes this afternoon as I pretend to work.

With 3 weeks until the trade deadline, the Cardinals decide to show some life to just make it a more difficult decision as to what to do.

Interesting stat I just saw on Twitter, after today the Mets will have played their 9th doubleheader so with the seven inning games they will have shaved four full games off their schedule

1500th K by deGrom, second quickest to 1500, one start behind Darvish. Interesting start so far, he usually comes out of the gate firing 100 plus but he was sitting 96-98 the first three innings and the flipped a switch in the 4th and is back up in triple digits

Joey Gallo is in. One spot remaining.

And shortly after the announcement, he launches his second home run of the game 462 feet.

EDIT: And the final participant has revealed himself. Juan Soto!

This is gonna be a heck of a Derby.

Some of y'all actually get into the Home Run Derby? I dunno, reminds me of the NBA 3-point contest; I mean, there's no opposition, you expect them to get a lot of buckets/home runs.

Uhh...yeah. That's kind of the point.

Especially with this year being in Coors? Must-see.

That was an ugly 8th inning by both teams but nice job tying the game against Hader and walking off the following inning
