Seeing how Heyman credited the post about Freeman to Jays, perhaps there's some truth to it afterall?

If Freddie leaves Atlanta, and especially if he ends up in Toronto, AA will have thrown away any good will he accumulated with the World Series win this year. Weird that it was all over twitter last night about Freddie signing with the Braves and now I see/hear nothing of it.

Sounds like Cubs and Clint Frazier are nearing a deal
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

if Freeman is a Jay just lock them in as winning the East now that offence would be unstoppable

If Freeman is truly available. Yankees are stupid for not going after him. That's exactly the player that lineup needs.

that is a risk for the cubs with all the health issues he had with his head. Yankees really ruined him though and his fielding is terrible

That guy was a bust for the yankees. they gave up Andrew Miller who was red hot at the time none of those 4 yankee prospects are even in the majors now from that trade let alone with the yankees.

The problem is the yankees just don't want to spend money. stuck with that Cole and Stanton contract and Judge is a free agent next year.

but yes they are just too right hand heavy home run or nothing which might get you 13 wins in a row when hot by get you 13 losses in a row when not I bet the yankees will sign Nelson Cruz for a 1 year deal. the perfect player that Cashman loves home run or nothing with a 200 AVG and a right hander lol

Blue Jays have the balance here. and I think Boston overachieved last year, and the Rays I don't think they can just keep doing what they are doing and trading the entire team Pirates style but still win. I really think 2022 the Jays are going to win 100 games in the East that team looks great and one offence I would not want to pitch to.

It sure appears that way. Our big fish right now is Andrelton Simmons. George would have died for the Yankees and his son doesn't give a damn. Smh.

The era of the baby bombers was short lived. I applaud the Yankees for going after Cole. He just failed miserably last year when it counted. If he's a dog he'll bounce back. The rotation and pen are fine.

But they've got to add contact hitters. I would have personally loved Starling Marte and Seager and called it a day. But that didn't happen.

Yep the Cole contract had to happen it was fine had a bad last month but he was worth it the problem was they thought the offence would be fine, where last year that was the yankees problem, the team just couldn't hit and for years now struggle with RISP. and they couldn't blame the injury bug last year it wasn't as bad as past years.

the answer was to sign Odor. I mean what!!!?? that was the worst signing of 2021 that any team made.

I really need Freeman to hurry up and sign with Atlanta. If he's in another uniform and I'm forced to watch the travesty of DH in the NL...

the rockies are interested in Kris Bryant... I can't follow that franchise they have no idea what they are doing. There all in they are all out they are both ways.

They had the best offense last year and finished in 4th.

What's crazy about that is how they didn't even have Springer for most games early on.

They lost Semien, but will hopefully have a full year of Springer and could add someone like Freeman or Bryant, all while having a full season of Berrios and Manoah in the rotation, with Gausman replacing Ray.

Aren’t they paying a chunk of Arenado’s salary too? Great strategy, trade away your best player and pay some of his salary and replace him with someone not as good and probably pay him more

True they were only 1 game away from the wild card though that yankees 1-0 walkoff was the difference in a game the rays didn't really care about.

I think if the Jays made the playoffs they would have pushed Houston more then Boston did
