Why the hell would Cincy deal Winker. He struggles mightily against southpaws?. But he's young and blossomed. Don't understand this at all.

Reds not only throwing up the white flag of surrender, but they are salting their own earth as well.

Maybe the Reds will do a proper rebuild this time instead of this half in/half out nonsense they’ve been doing for half a decade.

Amazing that the reds are not trying to hand Votto to the yankees to take the contract. that be a classic Cashman move

Reds also getting a PTBNL....apparently someone they believe would add to the deal

Votto has a no-trade clause and the only team I could see him lifting it for would be Toronto.

Votto has always said he wants to play his entire career for the Reds, though I’m curious how much that’s been shaken by the moves the club has made the past couple of years.

                          2022 reporting...

Vladdy also liked the Instagram post I mentioned, and has changed his profile to read Blue Jays 3B (which would only happen if they got a 1B good enough to move him to 3B)

The Outfield in Seattle is loaded! and they have Julio coming up. not sure where Winkler will fit then/

Look out Astros I think Seattle might just challenge you this year for the west they might be a starter short though and the BP could need another arm or 2.

3 more years left on his deal and possibly his entire career, he's never won a playoff round, I think he's coming up on the part of his career where he needs to decide if he wants to stay with the Reds forever, or make some runs at a world series.
